About the role
Location: Cape Town, South Africa
Engagement: Full-Time Preferred | Flexible arrangements may be considered
The Opportunity
A premium, physician-led wellness and longevity centre in Cape Town is looking for a Medical Doctor to join its growing clinical team. This is not a traditional medical practice. The centre operates at the intersection of clinical medicine, preventative healthcare, wellness, longevity, performance, advanced diagnostics and personalised health optimisation. The focus is on helping clients take a proactive approach to their health — identifying opportunities earlier, understanding their health data and supporting them in achieving better long-term health, wellbeing and performance.
We are looking for a doctor who is hungry, dynamic and genuinely excited about the future of healthcare. Someone who wants to learn, push themselves, challenge conventional thinking and build their career within a business that is growing in an exciting and evolving space.
You do not need years of experience in longevity medicine. What matters more is who you are, what drives you and how genuinely interested you are in wellness, preventative healthcare and emerging areas of medicine.
If you are a qualified doctor with an interest in areas such as longevity, peptides, preventative medicine, health optimisation, metabolic health or integrated medicine, this could be an opportunity to build something meaningful while developing your own career.
The Role
You will work closely with the clinical and wellness team to deliver a highly personalised healthcare experience to a discerning client base.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conduct comprehensive medical consultations and patient assessments.
Take detailed medical histories and perform appropriate clinical examinations.
Review and interpret laboratory results, biomarkers and relevant diagnostic information.
Identify potential health risks and opportunities for preventative intervention.
Support personalised health optimisation and longevity plans within your clinical scope of practice.
Monitor patient progress and adapt care appropriately.
Engage clients around preventative health, lifestyle, wellness and long-term health outcomes.
Develop your knowledge of emerging areas of preventative and longevity medicine.
Work collaboratively with the wider clinical, wellness and performance team.
Refer clients to specialists or other healthcare professionals where appropriate.
Maintain accurate, confidential and compliant clinical records.
Uphold high standards of medical ethics, clinical governance and patient safety.
Contribute ideas, energy and initiative to the continued growth of the centre.
Help create a professional, warm and highly personalised client experience.
What We're Looking For
The Essentials
Qualified Medical Doctor.
Current registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
Strong clinical foundation and sound medical judgement.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Genuine interest in wellness, preventative healthcare and health optimisation.
Curiosity about longevity and emerging areas of healthcare.
Willingness to learn and develop within the wellness and longevity space.
Professional, responsible and patient-focused approach.
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
Appropriate professional indemnity / medical malpractice insurance, where required by the engagement structure.
Personality Matters
This is where the role really differs from a conventional medical position.
We are looking for someone who brings energy, personality and ambition into the room.
You should be:
Dynamic, lively and energetic.
Naturally bubbly, vivacious and engaging.
Highly personable and comfortable building relationships.
Extraverted and confident when interacting with clients and colleagues.
Ambitious and hungry to make your mark.
A natural leader who takes ownership and initiative.
Resilient, driven and prepared to push through challenges.
Someone who pushes boundaries and challenges conventional thinking.
A strong team player who genuinely has their colleagues' backs.
Comfortable speaking up, sharing ideas and taking responsibility.
Curious and open-minded about the future of medicine.
Excited by learning and personal development.
Motivated by both career growth and business growth.
Someone who genuinely embodies the wellness philosophy they are helping clients achieve.
We are looking for a warrior mentality — someone with drive, determination and a desire to prove what they are capable of.
You should be the kind of person who doesn't wait for opportunity to come to them. You see an opportunity, take ownership and make something happen.

Full-time commitment is strongly preferred. The centre is looking for someone who wants to become genuinely invested in the team, the clients and the long-term growth of the business. Flexible arrangements may be considered for the right candidate, but this is not intended to be a casual locum or purely part-time opportunity.
